William F. Reed Sr., 73

William F. Reed Sr., 73 of Oak St. Fulton, died Monday at the Veterans Hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Reed was born in Ogdensburg the son of the late Carl and Genevieve (Clark) Reed.

Mr. Reed lived in Ogdensburg before coming to Fulton thirty years ago, where he worked at Birdseye Company, Fulton until his retirement.

Mr. Reed served in the United States Army, and was a member of the Fulton VFW Post 569.

Mr. Reed was a life member of the ELKS, and a member of the Polish Home, Fulton. He was an avid fan of the Yankees and NY Giants. Mr. Reed enjoyed bowling and golfing.

He is survived by his children Kelly (Gerald) Amo of Ogdensburg, William (Terrie) Reed Jr. of Colton, Janine (Joel) Giglio of Ogdensburg, Debbie (Steven) Gates of Mexico, siblings Ann (Jack) Townsend of Canton, Barbara (Floyd) Mack of Ogdensburg, Richard (Marylou) Reed of Illinois, Gerald (Sue) Reed of Ogdensburg, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Reed was predeceased by his sisters Patricia Davis and Judy Reed. Calling hours will be Saturday 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home 224 West Second St. Fulton. Burial will be private.
