OSWEGO, NY – William Thomas Lewis, 77, of Oswego, passed away at Oswego Hospital on Sunday June 28, 2015.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Turkington) Lewis.
He was a US Army veteran.
Bill retired from Nestles after 32 years.
He enjoyed golfing, baseball and working outside.
Bill was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his wife of more than 50 years, Joyce (Sova) Lewis; two daughters, Deborah (Mike) Bareham and Jennifer Cahill, both of Oswego; two sons, Robert (Lisa) Lewis of Fulton and Randy Lewis of Syracuse; a brother, Frederick (Marge) Lewis of Oswego; two sisters, Mary (Robert) Clark of Oswego and Christine (Albert) Burleson of Texas; six grandchildren, Alyssa Lewis, Madison Lewis, Andrew Bareham, Sarah Bareham, James Rose and Brianna Cahill; along with several nieces and nephews.
Bill was predeceased by two sisters, Anna May Bartholomew and Margaret Somers.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Nelson Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
