Williamson Awarded 2013 All-Conference Team honors by Mountain Valley Conference

HERKIMER, NY – Four Herkimer County Community College women’s soccer players were awarded 2013 All-Conference Team honors by the Mountain Valley Conference.

Jessica Williamson, a sophomore from Mexico, is a striker for the Generals majoring in Criminal Justice.

Williamson started 14 games this season, with six goals and three assists.

Each player helped the Generals to an 8-6-1 overall record and Region III playoff berth.

The women are coached by Amy Dommer.

Herkimer County Community College is a unit of the State University of New York, located in Herkimer, about 20 miles east of Utica.

With an enrollment of approximately 3,200 students, Herkimer offers more than 40 associate degree and certificate programs, on-campus housing, an active co-curricular activities schedule and a national championship athletic program.

Herkimer is a Division III member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and has amassed 38 national, 92 regional and 136 conference championships. Herkimer placed third in the 2012-13 National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA) Cup competition.
