As proud sponsor of both ISMA’s and the Oswego Speedway’s supermodified “Up & Comer” award, Super Racing News is pleased to offer racing fans the opportunity to have dinner and a movie on us. Readers need only to simply pick the winner of the “Up & Comer” award for this coming weekend’s Mr. Supermodified 50-lap event. If you are correct, you could win yourself gift certificates to both the Blue Moon Grill in Fulton and Midway Drive-In in Minetto, NY.
The “Up & Comer” award winner is given to the highest finishing driver in the feature who has never won a supermodified event at the Oswego Speedway. Stephen Gioia, III and Joey Payne were early-season winners of this award, as was Ray Graham, Jr. Graham won the award on May 30th, essentially disqualifying himself from consideration in the future by winning the race.
Other than Gioia and Payne, some of the other drivers eligible to win Saturday night’s “Up & Comer” award are both, Lou LeVea and Lou LeVea, Jr., Hal LaTulip, Keith Shampine, Dan Connors, Jr., Pat Lavery, Jason Spaulding and Keith Gilliam. Any driver that makes the August 1st main event who has never won a regular non-wing supermodified feature at Oswego is eligible. That also includes King of Wings winner, Charlie Schultz.
In the likely event that more than one person correctly guesses the “Up & Comer,” winner, their name will go into a random drawing for the dinner and a movie giveaway. Entering is QUICK, EASY and FREE! To enter, simply email your name, a contact phone number and your driver to: [email protected]. Entries MUST be received no later than 6:30pm this coming Saturday.
Good luck to all and thanks for playing!
