Winning Photos will be featured in Oswego County Visitor Guide


OSWEGO – Winners of the Visitor Guide photo contest sponsored by the Oswego County Tourism Office were recognized recently by the County Tourism staff.

Duane St. Onge’s photo entitled “Fall Morning in Phoenix” won first place in the animals and agriculture category in the photo contest sponsored by the Oswego County Tourism Office.

The winning photos will be featured in the new Oswego County Visitor Guide which will be released later this fall.

“The contest generated a variety of beautiful photos that show lovely sunsets, historic buildings and rural scenes, and people enjoying the outdoors across Oswego County,” said contest coordinator Faith O’Brien. “The winning photos have been posted on the county tourism Facebook site and will be used in the new visitor guide.”

Winning photos and photographers will be identified in the new visitor guide, which will be distributed at consumer shows, at information centers across New York State, at Thruway rest stops, and in response to requests for information from advertising placed on line and in print media.
