BREWERTON, NY – Start off your holiday weekend with some of the best dirt track racing you will find anywhere in the Northeast as WOLF Radio 105.1 New Country presents high speed racing action at the Brewerton Speedway, this Friday on Memorial Day Flag Night.
WOLF Radio 105.1 is one of the most popular Country radio stations in upstate New York with frequencies also at 98.3 Syracuse, 96.7 Oswego and at 101.5 in Oneida. In the clay slinging, crowd pleasing, Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds there have been four feature events run with four different winners. The list includes some of the best in the business, Ryan Phelps, Jimmy Phelps, Alan Johnson and the latest winner Willy Decker. In the 2011 season, a dozen different drivers graced victory lane. Can last season’s win total be broken at the “D-Shaped Dirt Demon.”
Also on the race card will be, Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds, Beaver River Distribution ESDCA Mod Lites and Anchor Bar & Grill Four Cylinder Super Stocks.
If you always wanted to get on the speedway to show off your skills, Friday night will be your chance with One- On-One Spectator races. All you have to have is a registered vehicle, a valid driver’s license and a helmet to be part of this popular fan event.
Gates will open Friday at 5:30 with the first green flag to wave at 7:30. Adult grandstand admission will be $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger admitted FREE to the grandstands. Pit admission will be $27 competitors/$30 for non-competitors.
As the calendar moves towards summer don’t forget to mark on your calendar, July 18 as the 410 Sprint cars will be making their first ever historic visit to the “D-Shaped Dirt Demon.” The UNOH All-Star Sprints will invade the Brewerton Speedway.
