Woman Badly Hurt in Sandy Creek Crash

A woman riding her motorcycle in Sandy Creek suffered serious injuries when she was thrown from the cycle.

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Department reports that at about 4:10 p.m., Sheryl Cough, 54, of Pulaski was riding along County Route 15 near Route 11 when the cycle ran off the north side of the road.  Cough was thrown to the ground.

Police found Cough unconscious but breathing.  She was driven by ambulance to Parish, where the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department’s Air One helicopter flew her to University Hospital in Syracuse.

She is reported in serious condition.
