Women Dance to Fight Breast Cancer

FULTON, NY – Dozens of women and girls of all ages gathered at the Fulton YMCA on October 19 to dance on behalf of the new Zumba Global Research Grant for Breast Cancer Prevention managed by Susan G. Komen.

The event was hosted by Kelly O’Shaughnessy, Jennifer Hicks, and Pam Finocchiaro, all certified Zumba instructors at the Fulton Family Y.

Through the efforts and generosity of the women and girls who attended and the dozens of individuals and business who donated money and items that were raffled, the Zumbathon raised more than $1,000 to donate to breast cancer research.

We would like to thank all the participants and those who donated items and time in helping to make this event such a success!
