OSWEGO — The quarterly Women’s Empowerment Series will continue from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center, helping attendees along the path of self-discovery and the practice of reflection to self-mastery.
The series offers a supportive environment where women come together to discover and build on their intrinsic strengths as leaders while expanding their “toolbox” to find balance in their personal and professional lives.
Due to the success of the year-old series, the SUNY Leadership Institute’s Leadership Tools for Women Conference used the SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center’s offering as a model for its annual statewide event this summer in Poughkeepsie, organizers said.
“Women are benefiting from this series,” said Tammy Anderson, contract manager for professional development at the center. “Women are recognizing how their strengths are aligned with the most sought-after leadership abilities. Through heightened confidence and compassion, women are leading with new heights of productivity. We are excited to continue this program so we can help more women reach personal clarity, focus and harmony.”
The cost to attend each full-day session is $149, including a light breakfast and lunch. Discounts are available for multiple registrations. SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center is in the Oswego County Industrial Park, 70 County Route 59 in Phoenix, just off Route 481.
