Ya’ll American Country Tour Coming To Harborfest

OSWEGO, NY – American Country Music Legend Doug Stone headlines the Ya’ll American Country Tour that will take over Harborfest on the NRG Lakeview Stage on July 25.

Also appearing as part of the concert will be Burns & Poe, TelluRide and Jonalee White.

The Ya’ll American Country Tour hits the stage beginning at 1 p.m.

“This is a great way to culminate the 2010 edition of Harborfest,” said executive director Tom Van Schaack. “We’ve got quality entertainment all four days lined up and I know the country fans out there are really going to enjoy this Sunday afternoon full of country music.”

Stone first impacted radio back in 1990 with his debut single “Better Off in a Pine Box,” now – 20 years, a dozen hit singles and millions of album sales later he’s still going strong.

Stone has charted 22 singles, including four that reached Number One – including 1992’s  “Why Didn’t I Think of That?”

Burns & Poe have been described as the Sonny & Cher of Country, performing side-by-side, bantering back and forth with playful jibs and jabs.

Keith Burns was a founding member of the Grammy-nominated, gold recording trio Trick Pony while Michelle Poe, formerly a Dreamworks recording artist, has been an integral part of national touring bands behind the likes of Dierks Bentley and Hank Williams Jr.

Telluride, a four-member band out of Nashville, has opened for such stars as LeAnn Rimes, Billy Ray Cyrus, Little Big Town and Lonestar.

The band has also opened for legendary rock groups as Foreigner and REO Speedwagon.

The band’s first studio album “Four Square Miles” is available from online retailers and their infectious harmonies, catchy lyrics and driving grooves already have country music fans singing out loud.

White’s bubbly personality, big smile, and contagious laugh can put anyone at ease.

With the combination of a sultry country voice and mature writing styles, White boasts energy and passion for country music that will draw you in and bring you back for more.

In addition to her top 40 songs on the Country charts and the release of her sophomore album, White is also host of her own series “Long Road to Nashville” now in season two.

The Ya’ll American Country Tour 2010 presented by Yallwire.com begins on the NRG Lakeview Stage at Brietbeck Park on July 25 at 1 p.m.

As is the case with all live music and entertainment at Oswego Harborfest, the Ya’ll American Country Tour 2010 is admission free for all to enjoy.

Harborfest 2010 is scheduled for July 22-25.
