AMBOY – It is time celebrate and rejoice in the arrival of the vernal equinox at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center.
On March 19 at 2 p.m., come for a wander about the woodlands, ponds, and brook with naturalist Pat Carney, looking and listening for the messengers of spring.
Perhaps we will be serenaded by the avian and amphibian voices as we bid farewell to “Old Man Winter” and greet “Young Man Spring.”
Be sure to dress for an early spring walk.
The Young Man Spring Walk is a program designed for people of all ages. There is a $4 fee per person or $12 per family. Registration fees will be collected on the day of the program.
Amboy 4-H Environmental Educational Center is located at 748 Route 183, between routes 13 and 69 near Williamstown.
