Tomorrow I will be accepting my second place award for the Oswego Reading Council Annual writing contest. The topic for this year was The Person I Most Admire, and I chose to write about how my developmentally disabled daughter views the world from the eyes of an innocent child.
My daughter is also the subject of my first book, which I am currently in the process of seeking a publisher for. Currently I am taking part in a master writing course and later this summer each participant will be doing a public reading of their work at the River’s End Book Store.
More information on my book and for updates on my blog I can be found at WindingRoadBook.Weebly.Com
