Victoria K. Drake of Fulton, NY recently qualified to receive an Associate in Arts degree from West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
More than 800 students were expected to earn 1,417 credentials during the Spring 2011 at WKCTC– up from 1,139credentials in Spring 2010.
Veteran educator William Wade was the featured speaker at WKCTC’s 2011 graduation ceremony held May 6 at the Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center in Paducah.
Wade, dean of online learning at WKCTC, initiated the first online classes at the college more than 20 years ago and was recently named a Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) New Horizon Teacher of the Year nominee by the college.
