Rep. Dan Maffei Announces Birth Of First Child

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Dan Maffei and his wife, Abby Davidson Maffei, today (July 4) announced the birth of their first child, Maya Elizabeth Maffei.
“Abby and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Maya Elizabeth Maffei,” said Rep. Maffei. “Maya was born at 6:23 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2014. She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. Both mother and child are doing terrific. Maya is the biggest little birthday present I could have ever dreamed of, and we are so delighted to welcome her into the world.”
Maya’s birthday falls just a day before Rep. Maffei’s birthday on July 4.
