You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown Cast Announced

FULTON, NY – CNY Arts Center announces the cast of its next production, “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown,” set to open June 6 for a two-weekend run at the center, 357 State St.

The musical favorite is being directed and choreographed by Amy Price (Willy Wonka, Jr., Adventures of Tom Sawyer).

Adam Schmidtmann will head the cast as the title character Charlie Brown with Molly Brown in the role of Snoopy.

Sabrina Woodward is cast as Charlie Brown’s little sister, Sally, while Ryan Smith will portray Schroeder.

Julia Allen and Chris Tetro team up as brother and sister Lucy and Linus while Emily Yamada will fly in as Woodstock.

Newcomers Alaysia Person as Frieda and Daronda Scott as Marcy are joined by Megan Murtha who rounds out the cast as Peppermint Patti.

Dan Williams will be directing music for the popular musical while Priscilla VanGorder heads the costume team.

John Gamble returns as technical director, set and prop designer with assistance from Dan Shue and Shuba 2 Construction.

“Like all major productions, this show requires participation from many professionals working together to deliver a professional quality product to stage,” said Nancy Fox, producer. “We are very fortunate to have the expertise to create a production we are confident will be a treat for families and all audiences, from solid acting to music and dance to spectacular set and costumes.”

The production will once again offer creative ticket prices with one price for 12 and up, ages 11 to 5, pay your age, and under 5 free.

The final dress rehearsal will also open to the public to ‘pay-what-you-can’ for those who prefer to choose their ticket price.

“We had a great response to Willy Wonka, Jr. and we hope the audience will come back for another great family production,” Fox said.
