As an agency we have many partners. Some of these partners are other agencies, and some of them are individuals within agencies, people who go above and beyond to make our jobs easier. About 5 years ago the Youth Advocate Program had the pleasure to meet Wes VanDyke. The man recognized what we were doing and recognized that in order for us to do it, we had to meet certain deadlines. Wes is our “maintenance man”. He is our partner and our friend. Last winter the agency had a deadline. We needed offices and we needed a shed. In the dead of winter on the coldest possible days, Wes Was outside swinging a hammer and ensuring our deadlines were met.

This year the Youth Advocate Program has a new award it will give out year after year. That is our “friend of the agency” award. Our first recipient of this year’s award, is presented to our partner, our friend, Wes Van Dyke.

He is a strong supporter of the local community and has a powerful message to caring for the children of the area. He is very proud of the leadership and staff of the Youth Advocate Program.
