Youth Bureau Hosts Family Hollis Harvest Day Oct. 20

OSWEGO TOWN, NY – All Oswego County youth and families are invited to celebrate the autumn season at the Camp Hollis Harvest Day Oct. 20.

This free event will feature a variety of activities from 3 to 8 p.m., including fall-themed games, costume parade, trick-or-treating from cabin to cabin, pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts, trail walks, a campfire and much more.

Many of the activities at Hollis Harvest will be held outside, so participants should dress accordingly.

There will be an indoor space where visitors can enjoy food and refreshments and craft projects.

Youth ages 12 and under must have an adult attend the event with them.

Registration is not required.

Admission is free but donations of new and gently-used gloves and winter hats are welcome.

Camp Hollis is owned by Oswego County and operated by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau as a residential camp during the summer months for children ages 8 to 14.

The facility is available April through October for use by families, clubs, school groups and other organizations.

Events like “Hollis Harvest” give Oswego County residents the opportunity to enjoy Camp Hollis year-round.

Camp Hollis is located at 40 Health Camp Road, off Lakeshore Road in the town of Oswego.
