Casting is Complete For ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’

OSWEGO – Casting is complete for the Oswego Children’s Theater’s holiday production of Barbara Robinson’s “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.”

The cast members are: back row - Brad and Gina Wentworth, Sydney Osbourne, Alexa Bell, Mackenzie Mulcahey, Layne Osbourn, Middle row - Gabe Taylor, Amelia Wentworth, Grace Syrell, Ella Woolworth, Lena Williams, Trevor Griffiths, Abigail Smith, Caylyn Salmonson, Cameron D’Angelo. Front row - Nolan Verberg, Elsie Verberg, Althea Sawyer, Ellie Laird, Ethan Moshe,r, Max Clarke, Odin Mosher, Olive Mosher, Gianna D’Angelo, Arianna Lee Jones, Leo Jones, Nina King, and Ethan D’Angelo.

This show tells a wonderful story of the true meaning of Christmas, when a group of kids from the wrong side of the tracks take over the annual Christmas pageant and everyone learns something.

“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” features a large cast of area children including Alexa Bell as Beverly, Kiyara Bragg, as Amamda, Claire Buckalaw, as Junita, Max Clarke as Charlie Bradley, Cameron D’Angelo, as Elmer Hopkins, Ethan D’Angelo, as Micheal, Giana D’Angelo, as Donna, Avery Faraglia, as Ralph Herdman, Trevor Griffiths, as Leroy Herdman, Arianna Jones, as Emily, Leo Jones, as Jerry, Issac Kerns, as Ollie Herdman, Nina King, as Gladys Herdman, Ellie Laird, as Karen, Austynn Milonne Grinnel, as Mary, Odin Mosher, as Hobie, OLive Mosher as Shari, Ethan Mosher as Ben, Mackenzie, as Alice Wendelken, Sydney Osbourne, as Maxine, Layne Osbourne, as Beth Bradley, Caylyn, Imogene Herdman, Althea Sawyer,as Shirley, Abigail Smith, as Janet, Grace Syrel, as Laura, Gabriel Taylor, as Claude Herdman, Nolan Verberg, as David, Elsie Verberg, as Nicole, Amelia Wentworth as Vicki, and Ella Woolworth as Doris.

In addition, a number of adults will be featured in the production including Brad and Gina Wentworth as Mr. and Mr. Bradley, along with others yet to be announced.

The show will be led by veteran Children’s Theater director Lyndsie Lee Jones asssited by Ken Jones and Wayne and Kelly Mosher.

The show is presented by special arrangement with Sammuel French Inc.

“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” will be presented November 29, 30 and December 1 at 7:30 p.m. with a special matinee performance on December 2 at 2 p.m.

All performances willl be at the First Congregational Church of New Haven, NYS Route 104 East in the town of New Haven.

Tickets for are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and children.
