Oswego County Proclaims Drug and Alcohol Recovery Month

Oswego County Legislature Chairman Barry D. Leemann has designated September as Drug and Alcohol Recovery Month. Substance abuse, mental disorders and physical illness are major public health issues that affect millions of Americans in communities across the country. Public education is essential to overcome misconceptions about addiction and help those in recovery achieve long-term success.
