According to committee member and coordinator of the Rural Health Network, Danielle Wert, the meeting is open to all Fulton community members and will outline the plan for the community garden that will be located at John Lincoln Park.

“The community garden is a great way for Fulton residents to enjoy fresh vegetables, herbs and flowers right from their own garden!  Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County, the city of Fulton, and the Nutrition Collaboration of Oswego County we will soon be breaking ground on the garden,” said Wert.

Each resident wishing to participate in the community garden project will receive their own garden plot and the vegetables, herbs, or flowers that they raise will be theirs to enjoy.

Members of the Nutrition Collaboration of Oswego County will be providing support as needed so that those who have never tended a garden before will still be able to enjoy success.

Those interested in participating in the community garden project are urged to attend this meeting.
