Marjorie V. Harrington, 81, a resident of 3929 Co Rt. 57, Oswego, passed away August 27, 2008 at University Hospital, Syracuse.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Irene Mae (Lindsley) Dowd.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Sallie Cappel and Barbara (Timothy) Kraft, both of Oswego; two sons, James D. (Sandra) Harrington and Charles H. (Wendy) Harrington, both of Oswego; a step-mother, Mary Dowd of Oswego; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Harrington and a sister, Dorothy Finkeldey.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
Contributions can be made to the Order of the Eastern Star or Trinity United Methodist Church, 45 E. Utica St. Oswego.
