Robert “Juddy” Judd, 75

Robert “Juddy” Judd, 75, of Hannibal, died Thursday at University Hospital in Syracuse after a long illness.  A native of Worcester, he resided in the Hannibal area for 54 years.  Bob retired as a truck driver for Penn Central Trucking in DeWitt.  He previously worked for Indian Summer Trucking Company in Sodus and Collins & Simmons Trucking in Wolcott.  Bob was a NASCAR fan and an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Helen F. Judd of Hannibal; four children, Virginia (Todd) Brown of Conquest, Leroy (Doris Whyte) Judd of Sterling, Judy Judd of Hannibal and Carol (David) Mendenhall of Sterling; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal with burial at Ira Union Cemetery, Ira.  Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal.

  1. Dear “Judd”.. it is with sadness that I have learned of the death of your dear father, Bob. Time and distance has separated us through these years but you are so often in my thoughts and prayers as my memories of fun and happy years spent with you.
