Donald J. Ross, 80, of Martville, formerly of Angelica, died September 2, 2008 at his home. Born in Smethport, PA, to Alphonzo and Audrey Hyde Ross, he resided in Martville since 1987. Don retired from Chemung Contracting after 40 years. He was a member of the Angelica Masonic Lodge. Don was predeceased by his parents, sister, Nancy Ross and brother, Jim Ross.
Surviving are his friend and companion for 40 years, Joan Mattison of Martville; wife, Shirley Wilson Ross of Angelica; children, William Ross of Angelica, Dana (Sue) Ross of Belmont, Linda Ross of Belmont, Kevin (Joanne) Ross of Belfast, Patti Allen of Wellsville, Theresa Axtel of Addison, Linda Cornish of Avon, Josie Ross of Fulton and DJ Ross of Martville, Edith Cornish of Scottsville, NY; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
