OSWEGO, NY – Beatrice Favata, 82, a resident of 16 Minerva St., died on Sept. 17, 2008, at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late John and Angline (Bonita) DeStevens and had attended Oswego schools.
Mrs. Favata was employed with Taggarts.
For most of her life she was a homemaker who was a loving mother and grandmother.
She loved to cook.
Surviving are her son, James (Chris) Favata of Oswego; a brother, Louis (Mary Lou) DeStevens of Oswego; two sisters, Ann Butler of Oswego and Catherine (John) MacLean of Oswego; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Favata; her daughter, Linda Slight; and a son, Anthony Favata.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Dowdle Funeral Home.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
