Connie L. Pryor, of Oswego, died Tuesday at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.  A native of Volney, Connie had resided in Oswego since 1950.  She retired in 2003 as a cook at Kingsford Elementary School in Oswego after working as an assistant cook at Oswego High School.  She had previously owned and operated Star Diner in Oswego during the 1950s. Connie was a communicant of The Church of the Immaculate Conception in Fulton.

She was predeceased by a brother, Vito Lazzaro III and sisters, Frances Sheldon, Angelina Strano and Santa Kingsbury.

Surviving are:  two sons, Larry M. and Steven M. (Bette) Pryor both of Oswego; a daughter, Theresa A. (Jerry) Hays of Lomira, WI; a granddaughter, Ashley (John) Potzler of Buena Park, CA; great-granddaughter, Natalie Potzler; three brothers, Sam and Benny Lazzaro both of Oswego and Joseph Lazzaro of New Haven; six sisters, Rose Tripolone of Syracuse, Virginia Clark of Oswego, Alfia Bivens of Oswego, Mary Cory and Jenny Munger both of Fulton and Grace Campbell of Central Square; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Saturday at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, corner of Third and Rochester Streets, Fulton with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Following the burial there will be a luncheon at the church.  Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
