Betty Campbell Shaver, 84 years old, died on September 9th at home in Orlando, Florida.
Betty was a homemaker and worked for the Baldwinsville School System as a switch board operator in the district office. She also worked with her husband in his chiropractic practice for several years. Born in Fulton, NY, she was the daughter of EJ and Mae Campbell of Fulton (Deceased). Betty volunteered at the Vera House in Baldwinsville. The Seton Hospital in Austin, TX and St. Luke’s Church in Orlando, Fl. She was previously a member of Eastern Star. She attended Syracuse Secretarial School.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dr. Donald Shaver, formerly of Baldwinsville and children, Gail (Steve) Elliott, Temecula, CA., Kathy (Pete) Ahern, Clermont, FL., Rick (Barbara) Sugarland, TX., Bob (Edvique), Cumming, GA., Don (Jeanette), Windermere, FL and Doug (Wendy) Glen Allen, VA. She is also survived by her sister, Sue (Danny) Goss of Fulton, NY and 19 grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 4th at St. Luke’s Church, 4851 Apopka-Vineland Rd., Orlando, FL 32819. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Edgewood Children’s Ranch, 1451 Edgewood Ranch Rd, Orlando, FL 32835. Professional Services provided by Dobbs Funeral Home, 430 N.
