Lena Allen, 76, a resident of the Oswego Scriba area, died Saturday in the Oswego Hospital.
Mrs. Allen was born in Oswego the daughter of the late Achille and Mary (Falvo) Scaccia. She was a former waitress at Canale’s Restaurant having worked there for eighteen years. Mrs. Allen was a hairdresser for thirty years at The Beauty Shop in Oswego. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Allen in 1998.
She is survived by three sons Donald (Nancy) Allen of Arizona, James Allen of Scriba, Paul (Tamara) Allen of Oswego Town, and three daughters Barbara (Ed) Allen –Riley of Oswego, Jeanne (Roy) Copsey of Arizona, Peggy (Rick) Michael of Scriba. Mrs. Allen is also survived by three brothers Jim (Candy) Scaccia of FL, Frank (Sandy) Scaccia of Liverpool, and Angelo “Midge†Scaccia of Oswego, and three sisters Angie (Pat) Audlin of Oswego, Peggy (Mike) Famularo of Oswego, and Barbara Greg of FL,, she had nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday 6:00 p.m. at the Sugar and Scanlon Funeral Home, Oswego with Rev. James Tschudy. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be Wednesday 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home 147 West Fourth St. Oswego.
