SCRIBA, NY – Florence M. Rollin, 84, a resident of County Route 29 in the Town of Scriba, passed away Monday Sept. 29, 2008, at her home.
Mrs. Rollin was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Sidney and Anna (Seeloff) Adle.
She was a life resident of the area.
She was the wife of the late Richard Rollin Sr., who died in 1991.
Mrs. Rollin loved gardening, and all kinds of animals.
She took joy in feeding the wildlife around her home.
She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Rollin of Oswego, and Beverly (Lawrence) Backus of Scriba; a son, Richard (Diane) Rollin Jr. of Scriba; a sister, Inez Pryor of Oswego; five grandchildren, Travis Pospesel, Kerri Rollin, Jeffrey Rollin, Kristy Boni, and Philip Reitz Jr; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the home of Beverly Backus, 331 County Route 51A, in the Town of Scriba. Everyone is invited to attend.
