Second Warders Express Frustration

Dozens of Second Ward residents share their opinions with  representatives of the police department as well as their alderman at a  neighborhood meeting.

People living in Oswego’s Second Ward are fed up with the noise, vandalism, foul language and overall bad behavior of some of the youth in the area. Zone Change Request Returns To Oswego Council

The request to re-zone 134 E. 13th St. (southerly portion) and 140 E. 13th St. from an R-3 Residential District to a B-1 Neighborhood Business District returned for council consideration Tuesday night. The petition was withdrawn last year due to opposition from some neighbors. The committee favors holding a public hearing to see if there is any lingering opposition to the amended petition. […]
