OSWEGO, New York – Step One Creative, an Oswego-based advertising and public relations firm has announced the appointment of former WSTM-TV3/WTVH-5 News Anchor Andrea Bullard, as the agency’s new marketing communications specialist, according to President Shane R. Stepien.

Bullard, an Oswego-native, joined the agency June 1st, and will be responsible for expanding the agency’s products and services into new markets, assisting with public relations, non-profit, and event planning initiatives, as well as further developing existing client marketing potential.

“We’re very excited to have Andrea join our Step One Creative team,” said Stepien. “Andrea is extremely enthusiastic and ambitious, and we’re very confident that her work ethic, determination, and shared business philosophies will greatly benefit our agency, as well as that of our new and existing business clients.”

“Furthermore, her knowledge and experience will greatly benefit our public relations efforts, and assist in the growth of our fund development and event planning divisions,” Stepien added.

After receiving her degree with honors at SUNY Plattsburgh, Bullard took a job as a reporter in Mankato, Minnesota.  She later returned to New York State as a morning anchor in the Utica-market at WKTV. After two years at WKTV, she was hired as the morning anchor for WSTM/WTVH in Syracuse, where she was most recently employed until taking her new position at Step One Creative.

“I am so excited to be working in my hometown of Oswego, and for a company that has such a strong reputation in the CNY marketing industry,” said Bullard. “The agency provides an extremely creative and fun work environment, and I am looking forward to taking what I have learned in my five years in the TV industry and applying it to my new responsibilities at Step One.”
