“This edgy theatrical production takes you on a creative journey through the prose and poetry of the legendary writer and critic Edgar Allan Poe,” Artswego Coordinator Mary Avrakotos said. “It features dramatic readings with a backdrop of modern dance and projected video, and a sweeping cinematic score performed live on electronic and acoustic instruments by Van Slyke.”

Literacy Volunteers of Oswego County’s (LVOC) 11th Annual Golf Tournament at the Oswego Country Club was a “a great success, and raised more than $ 16,000 to help fight adult illiteracy in our county,†said Jane Murphy, LVOC executive director.
Head Start is a quality preschool program that enrolls 3- and 4-year-old children at no cost to families. The program’s primary goal is promoting school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children.
The CYO Summer Recreation Program at Catholic Charities of Oswego County concluded with the program’s third and final theme day. Participants in the program enjoyed a full day of carnival themed games and activities including the highlight of the day, the use of an Air Hop of Air Hop Inflatables.
