There are some new names as the legislature welcomed five new members today (Jan. 7). The lawmakers also approved an intermunicipal agreement with the town of Scriba and Oswego City School District regarding negotiations with Constellation Energy’s nuclear power plants at Nine Mile Point.
Clayt Brewer, Fulton Businessman retires after 30 years in the Oswego County Legislator. Brewer will be honored on Feb 6, at The Tavern on the Lock Restrurant in Fulton at 6pm.
According to a filing with the federal Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the reactor began shutting down because of a water level in the reactor that had fallen to the point where it kicked off an automatic shutdown.
