War of 1812 Anniversary Under Way In Oswego
Oswego kicked off a 200th anniversary commemoration on Saturday with the War of 1812 Symposium. The event, at The American Foundry, consisted of a series of lectures which focused on Oswego County’s role in the War of 1812. Several local historians and history buffs attended.
Fire Companies Hold Open Houses Next Weekend
Several local fire companies will host open house events and demonstrations Saturday and Sunday, April 9 and 10, to welcome people who may be interested in joining their departments.
Long-closed Golden Corral to Reopen as Daycare Center
Work could soon be going on inside the closed Golden Corral restaurant on Rt. 481 to turn it into the fifth Little Lukes childcare center.
