Kingsford Boots Off New School Year With ‘Book Camp’
Recently the students were scheduled to go outside with the partners and enjoy reading. However, inclement weather forced the students inside. Hallways and classrooms were filled by students anxiously wanting to read. The sounds of the words from a variety of books filled the air.
Graduation For OHS Students Celebrated At BOE Meeting
Several Oswego High School seniors completed their successful academic trip toward graduation in August. The Oswego City School District Board of Education celebrated the students’ accomplishments by presenting diplomas during the Sept. 27 regular meeting.
Longley Visits Oswego High School TV Studio
Oswego High School WBUC-TV and meteorology students had an opportunity to hear local meteorologist Dave Longley. Longley, a WBUC alum, is one of the veteran’s in Central New York weather analysis.

The H. Lee White Marine Museum is pleased to announce the third session of their three-part mini lecture series on the topic of the “Lighthouses of Oswego,” featuring Ted Panayotoff, lighthouse historian and City of Oswego Lighthouse Committee chair who will discuss the various lights, the lighthouse keepers and related topics that spanned Oswego’s rich maritime history.
