At its meeting Monday night, the Planning and Development Committee approved setting a public hearing regarding Tree City USA. On two previous occasions, the council has unanimously agreed that Oswego should become certified as a “Tree City USA.”
Hosted by the CYO program, the dinner will be held Nov. 19 beginning at 1 p.m. and is open to all youth in grades 2 through 12. To attend this free, youth only, Thanksgiving feast, make your reservation no later than Nov. 14 by contacting CYO supervisor Stacie Roberts at 315-598-3980, ext. 254.
Seven Oswego High School student-athletes officially announced their intent to continue their academics and sports activities during National Letter of Intent signing at OHS on Wednesday. Athletic Director Scott Sugar welcomed students, parents, grandparents, siblings, teachers, coaches, administrators and members of the Board of Education to the signing ceremony.
