During these dry weeks some of us took advantage of the opportunity to search local graveyards for “lost stones” that are more readily found in dry periods when the sod above them brown first. Trustee Margaret Kastler had the most significant discovery while poking around Noyes cemetery. She found a long-lost stone that caused us quite a stir as we tried to figure it out.
A free kids fishing class will be held August 18. It will run from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Lake Neahtahwantha, park at Bullhead Point (where the pier reaches out into the lake), Route 3, west side of Fulton.
