The Oswego State volleyball team (10-14) was unable to match the firepower of 11th-ranked Cortland (25-2) in a straight-set loss (25-15, 25-15, 25-15) Wednesday night. The Red Dragons hit a blazing .292 on 30 kills and just nine errors.

Human Purple Ribbon Helps Fight Domestic Abuse
Given the startling facts regarding domestic violence, officials say there is a pretty good chance that we all probably know someone who is or has been in an abusive relationship. In recognition of Domestic Violence Month, OCO’s Services to Aid Families program planned a number of events to raise awareness of domestic violence and educate the community on the services that are available through the SAF program.

Calling all parents, caregivers, teachers, and safety professionals! Oswego County Traffic Safety Board is offering a certification course for Child Passenger Technician in November. The National Safe Kids course certifies individuals for 2 years and is easily renewed.
