Samantha Rock’s goal in the 73rd minute proved to be the difference maker, as the Oswego State women’s soccer team (5-9-0) lost 1-0 to St. Lawrence University (7-5-0) Tuesday night.

OHS Musician Tabbed For U.S. Army All-American Bowl Band
Representatives from the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour will visit Oswego High School on Wednesday to officially select clarinet player Joseph Bertonneau to the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band. Oswego High School will honor Bertonneau before his fellow band members, classmates, fans and family during a post rehearsal assembly.

OCO SAF Program Invites Community Members to Come Together To End Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime and most domestic violence cases are never reported to the police. Additionally, domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women – more than car accidents, muggings and rapes combined.

Marching Bucs Fourth at Yamaha Cup
Band Director Scott Ciesla said, “The Marching Bucs performed very well. We had two excellent practices on the trip and it really paid off. We finished with a score of 80.79 which was good for fourth place out of eight. We just missed third place by just two tenths of a point.”
