Oswego State men’s ice hockey pounds Elmira
The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (2-0-0) bounced back from Friday night’s slow start by scoring five goals in the first period en route to a 9-0 win over Elmira (0-1-0) Saturday night at the Campus Center Ice Arena.

Oswego County recently designated October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month to raise awareness about the devastating impact of this issue and the variety of services available to its victims and survivors.
Masons Plan Massive Book, Bake Sale
This huge gigantic sale will include: books, records, magazines, children’s books, hardcovers and paperback, CDs, DVDs, and more with a wide selection. Delicious homebaked goods will also be available for sale, with a sandwich lunch and more available Saturday. Free coffee will be offered all three days.
Quarterly Siren Tests Scheduled for Nov. 5-9
Each of the 37 individual sirens will be tested between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. between Monday, Nov. 5, and Thursday, Nov. 8. The testing on Friday, Nov. 9, will include a full-scale simultaneous activation of all 37 sirens for three to five minutes.
Oswego State field hockey team ends season with third straight win
The Oswego State field hockey team (6-10) completed its season on Saturday, collecting its third straight win by trumping the St. John Fisher Cardinals (6-11), 2-1.
