Senior Paul Rodrigues of Oswego State has been voted as the USCHO D-III Player of the Year for 2012-2013. Rodrigues beat out UW-Eau Claire goalie Brandon Stephenson and teammate Luke Moodie for the award.
The Florida Panthers have announced that former Oswego State men’s ice hockey player Eric Selleck has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) to the NHL. Selleck is believed to be the first Laker player to appear in a NHL contest.

I recently joined several local highway officials in Albany to advocate for an increase in state aid for local roads and bridges. With budget negotiations under way, we cannot short change our localities and provide them with funding that is inadequate to keep roads and bridges passable.
