Players and coaches from the Oswego Squirt I Hockey Team recently presented the Snowbelt Hockey League 2012-13 Squirt Division Playoff Championship Banner to the Oswego Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) Board of Directors.
The New York State Art Teachers Legislative Art Exhibit was recently held in Albany. Assemblyman Will Barclay met and congratulated four elementary students from the 120th Assembly district whose work was featured in the exhibit.
It marks the third straight year an Oswego State player has been named to the first team, with Chad Burridge being honored in back-to-back seasons.

The residents of Springside were treated to a guest appearance from the cast of Hello Dolly! performed by the Quirk’s Players of the G. Ray Bodley High School. The school musical was presented at the school the weekend after the Springside preview.
The Oswego County Legislature’s Public Safety Committee presented Lt. Michael Benjamin with a certificate of appreciation for 25 years of service to the county. Benjamin is a corrections supervisor with the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.
