News of synthetic drugs is making headlines again. The Governor recently signed legislation which expands the chemical ban of 2012. This new ban targets drugs used to make bath salts and psychedelic drugs and adds them to the Schedule 1 controlled substance list.

Pulaski Junior High School eighth graders put their technology knowledge to the test when they created Quality World collages using iPads in their math classrooms. The project tasked students to create a personalized collage using images that represent their “Quality World” and their “basic needs.”

Nancy Weber, the first woman president of the Farm Bureau, was the guest speaker for the Oswego Association of Business and Professional Women during the September 17 meeting. As a long-time dairy farmer in Mexico and representative on the CNY Regional Economic Development Committee, Weber spoke to the group about women in agriculture.
