College to offer ‘Safe Trick or Treat’ events for children Nov. 3

SUNY Oswego’s residence halls will provide “Safe Trick or Treat” for children in sixth grade or under accompanied by an adult, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 3. Families can look for balloons outside participating residence halls. Children also can take part in a variety of Halloween games and activities that day from noon to 3 p.m. in the Campus Center.

Quirk’s Players to stage ‘Bellhop’ this weekend

Quirk’s Players proudly present their fall production, Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore’s farce What The Bellhop Saw. Pictured here are cast members Michael Mankiewicz, David Houck, Jeremy Herlowski and Brad Crofoot. Though all dressed in bellhop uniforms, they are not all helpful hotel employees. What The Bellhop Saw is under the direction of Tom Briggs and plays this weekend in the GRB Auditorium.Quirk’s Players of G. Ray Bodley High School are placing finishing touches on their fall production, What The Bellhop Saw. The fast-paced farce by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore will be presented Friday and Saturday in the GRB Auditorium. Curtain time is set for 7:30 both nights and tickets are available at the door.

Ritchie Bill To Provide Property Tax Relief For Farmers Signed Into Law

State Senator Patty Ritchie has announced that her bill to help provide New York State Farmers with relief from rising property taxes has been signed into law by Governor Andrew Cuomo. Under Senate Bill 1952, a two percent cap would be placed on annual agricultural land assessment increases.
