Jessica Williamson, a sophomore from Mexico, is a striker for the Generals majoring in Criminal Justice. Williamson started 14 games this season, with six goals and three assists.
Members of The Oswego Fire Department met with staff of Oswego County OB/GYN wearing their shirts in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Both groups wore their respective shirts for the month and the fire department presented shirts bearing the Oswego Fire Department logo to Raj Mahajan MD and Judith DiMarco F.N.P.
The executive board of the constable association stated that the people of Hannibal already have shown their support of his abilities by electing Beckwith to the Hannibal Town Council (where Beckwith has served since 2012).

On October 29, Greene’s Ale House & Grille will hold its once-a-month “Celebrity Guest Bartender” Happy Hour. The Celebrity Bartender of the evening will be Tammy Murphy.

Lakeside Artisans, 191 W. First St., will hold an open house on November 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. An introduction of new members of the artists’ cooperative to the community will take place. The artisans will also unveil their latest creative efforts at the event.
Recognizing Oswego County is pleased to announce that Brian Katzman has been selected as community champion for October. Each month Recognizing Oswego County uses this recognition effort as a platform for emphasizing the wonderful work that is happening in Oswego County to promote the health and wellness of children, families and adults.
She will assist the program in a number of areas including updating participating families on the program’s events, facilitating group sessions, and coordinating correspondence between families and program staff.
Port City Roller Derby’s junior league will start its first full season, and support children in need this holiday season, with a bout on Nov. 9, in the Oswego YMCA Armory. The bout featuring two teams of PCRD junior skaters — ages 10 to 17 — will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the armory, corner of West First and Utica streets in Oswego.
