Oswego City Fire Department helps Cancer Services Program Kick Off Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Members of the Oswego City Fire Department, Shift D, proudly display their pink shirts in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The department is selling shirts throughout the month. The shirts are available at the East Side Fire Station in Oswego. All proceeds benefit the Cancer Services Program Partnership of Oswego County. ‘Painterly Prints’ to showcase student monotypes at Oswego State Downtown

SUNY Oswego’s art department will raise the curtain on an exhibition titled “Painterly Prints” on Oct. 26, at Oswego State Downtown. A free opening reception for 17 students in faculty member Mary Pierce’s “Introduction to Printmaking” class will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at the gallery and store, corner of West Bridge and First streets.

Northern Oswego County Health Services Announces Opening of Mexico Middle School-Based Health Center

Northern Oswego County Health Service, Inc. on October 16 will open the Mexico Middle School-Based Health Center.  The SBHC will provide primary care services to Mexico Middle School students including the treatment of illness, minor injuries, and chronic health issues, such as asthma and hay fever.
