In anticipation of the opening of two new science facilities at SUNY Oswego this fall, the college will showcase the sciences in its New York State Fair exhibit Aug. 27, in the State University’s tent. The human-computer interaction program’s robots will have a repeat engagement from 5 to 9 p.m.
SUNY Oswego will test the outdoor speaker portion of its emergency messaging systems Tuesday, Aug. 20. The audio test may be audible beyond campus boundaries, according to Campus Technology Services staff.
Chelsea Kimball, a young mother of three, is determined to help create a bright future for her hometown of Fulton and all of Oswego County. While her husband is on active duty with the National Guard, Chelsea, along with her children has been busy volunteering to clean parks and other areas in the county. It’s her way to give back to the community and show her children the importance of caring for the community they live in.

The annual meeting of the Auburn/Cayuga Community College Alumni Association will be held at 7 p.m. September 10 in the Business and Industry Center at Cayuga Community College, 197 Franklin St., Auburn. During the August 13 regular meeting of the Board of Education the board members discussed filling the seat left vacant with the resignation of James Tschudy. The members of the board will consider all applicants for the position.
