Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like OCO to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer. Funded through the New York State Education Department, the Summer Food Service Program provides free meals to all children 18 years and under.

The circus is coming to town, thanks to a former Port City resident. David H Dice said he is giving the Oswego Railroad Museum the circus layout he built over the last few years. “I want people to in joy it. My grandchildren and there children and family can see it and say, ‘My Grandfather made this.’ I am so happy to be able to do this,” he said.
Students of the Oswego Middle School select chorus called “Con Brio” recently visited Bishop’s Commons performing segments of their Cabaret themed program. Con Brio performed a variety of show tunes, including “Sit Down Your Rocking the Boat,” “Cabaret,” “Lullaby of Broadway,” and “Ain’t Misbehaving,” under the direction of Oswego Middle School Choral Director Paul Brewster.
