Minetto Elementary School sixth graders were in the spotlight at the annual honors program conducted before a cafeteria-packed with parents, friends, family and staff members. Amelia Michelle Wade, a junior at Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School, unexpectedly passed away in 2010. To honor her memory, her parents, Eric and Valerie Wade, along with their daughter, Kara, set up a scholarship in Amelia’s name to be awarded to APW High School seniors who exhibit exceptional character and plan to enter the medical field.
