Tabatha Svereika of Hannibal, a senior majoring in aeronautical engineering and mechanical engineering at Clarkson University, received The Perkins Family Memorial Award at the University Recognition Day ceremony during the spring semester.

Shortly after the polls closed Tuesday night, the Fulton Board of Education had the results: The 2013-2014 school budget passed. Along with the $65.3 million budget, incumbent board member David Carvey and newcomer Christine Plath were also elected.
The Oswego City School District’s 2013-14 budget was overwhelmingly approved by the voters Tuesday night. The unofficial results were 1,131 yes to 407 no. Voters also re-elected Kathleen Allen and Jim Tschudy. Heather DelConte was the second highest vote-getter.
