Harborfest brings back the traditional cash 50/50 raffle in 2013 after a one year absence, but with a new twist. In 2013, there will be three winners of three separate drawings. For 2013, people will spend just $3 but get three tickets with chances to win in each of three different drawings.

On April 27, the fifth National Prescription Drug Take Back Day – drugstores, police departments and other locations nationwide will accept unwanted or unused prescription drugs. New York Sea Grant is encouraging people to participate in this opportunity to properly dispose of the unwanted and unused medicines, including veterinary drugs, to help keep pharmaceuticals out of the Great Lakes.

The topic of the April Oswego Town Historical Society meeting will be Malone’s Garage, a familiar entity on Route 104 in Southwest Oswego. Malone’s Garage is the oldest continuous business in Oswego Town and is celebrating 75 years in business.
